Henthorn Lubbock is looking to hire for the following positions:
Commercial Construction Superintendent - Midland/Odessa
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team in the Midland/Odessa, Texas area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction and be able to manage all aspects of the construction process, from planning to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Manage and motivate the construction team to achieve project goals
- Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Living in Midland/Odessa area or willing to commute to Midland/Odessa Are
